About Us
We are the 3rd generation of the Douglas family to run Douglas Auto Salvage, which has been based at the same location since the end of 1945.
We have constantly upgraded our premises throughout this time to the highest standard, enabling us to have all the latest equipment required for de-polluting vehicles, therefore helping to protect the environment.
We have thousands of parts off the shelf, or if you prefer to get your hands dirty then you can help yourself.
Whichever way you choose our trained staff are on hand to give help and guidance when required.
We are registered members of the M.V.D.A. (Motor Vehicle Dismantlers Association), we are also fully licensed for E.L.V. (End of Life Vehicles), and have worked with the Local Authorities for a number of years to remove abandoned vehicles, as well as collecting unwanted vehicles from the General Public, covering the whole of Cumbria and the Borders.
